Sustainability Director

Green Mountain College, a national leader in sustainability in higher education, seeks an entrepreneurial director of sustainability.  This position is focused on helping the College achieve its ground-breaking strategic plan:  Sustainability 2020.

The director of sustainability reports directly to the provost and vice president of academic affairs and is responsible for overseeing the Student Campus Greening Fund, managing and expanding the campus recycling and waste diversion programs, and working closely with students, faculty, and staff to achieve greenhouse gas, renewable energy, and locally sourced food targets, as well as being the point person for sustainability initiative campus-wide.

This is a full-time, 12 month position.  Compensation and benefits are competitive.
