Pine Island Community Farm is recruiting for an unpaid intern this summer. The farm, in Colchester just a few miles from UVM, serves the refugee community raising goats, chickens, and field vegetables. One of our interns had to resign for health reasons and we are looking for someone available immediately for a minimum of 20 hours per week (more hours are always welcome) to help with general farm chores, event management, etc.
We can train you but we need someone who is hard–working, not afraid to get their hands dirty, results oriented, and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
We may be able to provide a modest contribution toward living expenses based on demonstrated need. We can also offer excellent resumé building experience and an awesome letter of reference for successful interns.

If you are interested in interning with this very exciting and innovative project, please send a letter of interest and resume to Karen Freudenberger at pineislandfarmvt@gmail.com
