The National Field Organizer will help U.S. Climate Plan build power by supporting a grassroots constituency of people who understand that tackling the global climate crisis will require bold federal action from the United States. This will primarily be through organizing related to U.S. Climate Plan’s Future Power initiative to convert the millennial generation’s passive support for government action on climate change to active support for policy changes that match the scale of the challenge.

The Policy Intern will be responsible for supporting policy advocacy efforts through research, analysis, and communication. Projects may include analysis of state-level potential for ambitious climate and energy policies, assisting with state level carbon tax campaigns, and support/expansion of ongoing efforts to lobby the Obama administration for stronger climate policies.
The Communications Intern will be responsible for developing and assisting in media strategy and implementation for the work of U.S. Climate Plan as well as stakeholder communications and engagement.
