Student Sustainability Internships available at Champlain College – Deadline Dec. 15

This program, run by MyActions.org runs a paid internship program for students who are interested in bridging all the various sustainability programs on campus.  This would be perfect for a student who is not already an Eco-Rep or working for Sustain Champlain, but wants to get involved. Read more below to learn how.

Engaging Students

myActions‘ team of Campus Interns is growing quickly and building positive momentum on 40+ campuses across the country. The students are pouring their energy and enthusiasm into motivating their friends, classmates and neighbors to get involved. They’re partnering with professors to expand the discussion of sustainability in the classroom. They’re helping raise awareness for events and initiatives planned by their Sustainability Offices. They’re challenging their clubs, dorms, fraternities and sororities to live greener.

In just the first several weeks, these campus leaders have delivered impressive real world impact. Among other things, the students have:

  • carpooled 30,800 miles
  • picked up 661 bags of trash
  • recycled 11,110 aluminum cans

We don’t yet have a Campus Intern at Champlain College and would be happy to consider your students for either of our paid internship roles. Our team supports each intern with tools, technology and skills development to aid them in building a positive student community on their campus.

If you could please share this information with groups, classes or specific candidates, I would be grateful.
Thank you for your consideration,
