The Chittenden Solid Waste District is looking for a skilled communicator with a passion for recycling, composting, and generally reducing the amount of material that ends up in the landfill. You’ll help inspire that same spirit in everyone who lives, works, and plays in Chittenden County. Here’s your job:

– Maintain all aspects of CSWD’s online presence, including websites and social media campaigns. Ability to manage and customize WordPress sites (working with a programmer) and to oversee design and implementation of new functions and theme updates.
– Help staff CSWD’s info hotline and booth at events with friendly professionalism (includes occasional evening & weekend hours).
– Help generate traditional print media — brochures, ads, posters, swag, etc. — using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator.
– 40 hours/week, $21/hour; excellent benefits. Based in Williston, VT — not a telecommuting position.
