Every year Wild Gift recruits outstanding new leaders to its Network of better-world entrepreneurs through an intensive application process. I am pleased to inform you that we have begun to accept applications for the 2014-2015 Fellowship Class. Through a rigorous application process, we recruit dynamic young individuals (ages 21-35) with innovative, entrepreneurial ideas. Successful applicants exhibit a deep passion and commitment to wilderness and sustainability and the capacity to bring better world projects to fruition.
Our 16-month Fellowship provides mentoring, seed funding up to $10,000, networking, and other related services to lift the Fellows’ ventures off the ground. In addition, each Fellow receives the “Wild Gift” — a wilderness immersion experience connecting them to the natural world on a very personal level, where they unplug, incubate ideas, envision their work and lives, and gain the inspiration, perspective and balance critical to effective leadership. Fellows also become a part of the Wild Gift Network — a community of like-minded, action-oriented individuals that will support them on their lifelong journey to develop and promote more sustainable communities.
