This event will include writing workshops, readings and presentations, a nature illustration workshop, educators’ workshops, an editors’ panel discussion, and plenty of time for informal conversations over meals and around the campfire.

Sponsored by The Trust for Public Land, this conference will explore how writers, artists and educators express the rich forest heritage of the Northeast: both the natural history of our region and the interactions of people and place. Keynote presentation by author John Elder, “The Once and Future Northern Forest.”
