Crow’s Path Education Internship

Crow’s Path is a nature connection program for kids that runs out of Rock Point here in Burlington. We’re looking for interns to help with our Field School, which runs Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Interns help facilitate different activities for the kids (ages 6-12). Interns are also supported in learning a variety of primitive skills (e.g. fire-by-friction, basket weaving, tracking, wild harvesting plants, natural history, etc.) as well as community building practices (e.g. storytelling, singing, nature-based games, mentoring). Because our program has a low ratio of adults to kids (4:1), interns will receive one-on-one instruction and opportunities for feedback.

Ideally, interns would be able to join us for at least one full day (9am-3pm) each week. No prior experience with natural history/primitive skills necessary. Ideal interns are curious, playful, patient, and adventurous. Our program Sept 2-Dec 6, but start date is flexible. We also have other opportunities to get involved.
