Dear Friends,
We are in need of volunteers and craft supplies to help us at our booth at the Vermont International Festival. The Festival is taking place at the Champlain Valley Expo in Essex Nov. 30th-Dec. 2nd. Our theme this year is “Peace, Love, Connection.” We will be having a craft activity where kids and adults alike can decorate puzzle pieces to either make into jewelry, Christmas ornaments, or anything else they can think of! For the adults, we will have a puzzle of Africa for them to work on as most of our newly arrived families are from the Democratic Republic of Congo. We will also have information about USCRI Vermont’s programs and ways for people to get involved. Volunteers enter the festival for free.
We will need 2 people for each of the following time frames:
Fri. Nov. 30th:

5:00pm-8:00pm
Sat. Dec. 1st:
10:00am-12:00pm
12:00pm-2:00pm
2:00pm-4:00pm
4:00pm-6:00pm
Sun. Dec. 2nd:
10:00am-12:00pm
12:00pm-2:00pm
2:00pm-4:00pm
4:00pm-5:30pm (clean-up)

In addition to being at our booth, we are in need of craft supplies for the activities! If you have any of the following items, please bring them to our office by Monday, Nov. 26th. Our office hours are 8:30am-4:30pm M-F. We are located at 462 Hegeman Ave, Colchester.
Craft items: glue sticks, glitter glue, pipe cleaners, feathers, googly eyes, markers, thread/string, jewelry making finding for pins and necklaces
