USCRI Vermont – Volunteers and craft supplies needed – Vermont International Festival 11/30-12/2

Dear Friends,

We are in need of volunteers and craft supplies to help us at our booth at the Vermont International Festival. The Festival is taking place at the Champlain Valley Expo in Essex Nov. 30th-Dec. 2nd. Our theme this year is “Peace, Love, Connection.” We will be having a craft activity where kids and adults alike can decorate puzzle pieces to either make into jewelry, Christmas ornaments, or anything else they can think of! For the adults, we will have a puzzle of Africa for them to work on as most of our newly arrived families are from the Democratic Republic of Congo. We will also have information about USCRI Vermont’s programs and ways for people to get involved. Volunteers enter the festival for free.

We will need 2 people for each of the following time frames:

Fri. Nov. 30th:

Sat. Dec. 1st:

Sun. Dec. 2nd:

4:00pm-5:30pm (clean-up)

If you are interested in helping us at our booth, please respond with the time(s) that you’re available. Laurie Stavrand <>
