To be eligible, students’ artwork must depict a land or ocean-dwelling species or a plant/flower that has been placed on the threatened/endangered species list or is considered a recovered species or a candidate species (proposed to receive protection). You could use your art contest entry on fliers or online to encourage students to take action or host a showing of your endangered species art and share more information about endangered species and why it’s important to ensure their protection. Learn more about Endangered Species Day and action opportunities for campus students.
