Thursday, March 29 • 6:30 – 8:00pm

Maeve Kim, birder, will amuse and startle us with a light-hearted look at all the things nature does to make it hard for us birders to see and identify the creatures we love—along with some strategies for getting around the “curve balls”!

This program is for beginning and intermediate birders as well as people who just like the wonders and quirks of nature.

DEADLINE: Art for “Common Grounds”

Tuesday, March 27

Our 2018 community art exhibit recognizes 100 years of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and its conservation consequences. In order for this to succeed, we have to work together across geographic, political, socioeconomic, and ecological boundaries. We need to find—or create—common ground. What does that look like?

We seek bird-oriented artworks that involve themes of commonality, conservation, migration, habitat, protection, and/or coordination among peoples, species, places, and/or time.

Let your art speak to conservation and connection.

For submission guidelines, see our complete Call to Artists at https://bovm.wordpress.com/ 2018/ 01/12/ call-to-artists-common-grounds/
