Dreamland: The True Tale of America’s Opioid Epidemic

The City of Burlington, the Fletcher Free Library, and the UVM Humanities Center are hosting the Mayor’s Book Group for a discussion about the nation’s opioid crisis and the impacts it is having in Vermont and Chittenden County. Thanks to the support of the UVM Political Science Department, we are fortunate to be joined by the author of Dreamland, Sam Quinones. 

Dreamland reveals the origins of the nation’s opioid epidemic – a narrative that is critical to understand as we seek to resolve this corrosive crisis.

In addition to this event, Sam Quinones will also be giving a free lecture on Wednesday, April 5 at 3:30 at the UVM Davis Center in the Silver Maple Ballroom.
