Coutesy of Audrey:
A student-led Sustainable Oceans Summit is taking place April 25th. Great opportunity for students to engage with global ocean policy issues.
Speakers will be participating from the US State Department, NOAA, the World Bank, Nature Conservancy, Palauan Ambassador to the UN Stuart Beck, the White House National Oceans Council, National Geographic and more. The event will be broadcast at a number of US embassies and global universities.
See invitation below from GU student leader Daniela Fernandez.
The event will be webcast, so interested students and faculty members may wish to set up a viewing party on your campus for part or all of the summit.
