Hello,
You’ve seen posters around campus, walked by the digital display boards, and dined in IDX looking at napkin-holder inserts promoting the Elevator Pitch. What are you waiting for? It’s time to take the plunge and register! (If you have already registered, use your best pitch to convince a friend to enter.)

An elevator pitch is a brief, persuasive speech with the intent to get someone hooked so that they can’t wait to learn more. For years it’s a tool that entrepreneurs have used to get “buy in” for their big idea. At Champlain, we’ve made it a competition and it will be returning to an in-person format this year.

Come up with a persuasive 90-second pitch message to promote yourself in one of three categories. You could walk away with bragging rights…and a cash prize. Plus…it looks great on a résumé and is a skill you’ll use over and over again. The competition is open to all years and majors and qualifies as InSight Career a la carte milestone for first-years and juniors.

P.S.–You must be at the Burlington campus to participate in person. Regretfully, the competition is not open to students studying abroad this semester.
