Skyler Nash, Justice & Public Policy Manager for the City of Burlington Racial Equity Inclusion and Belonging Department 
Marielle Matthews, Public Health Equity Manager at City of Burlington
Bob Wolford, retired director of the Coordinator of Criminal Justice Programs for the Howard Center in Burlington, VT and adjunct instructor at Champlain College
Tarn Foerg, Field Coordinator-Social Work Program, Champlain College
Jon Murad, Acting Chief, Burlington Police Department

Each panelist will  introduce and briefly discuss their own connection to the issue (“When a city declares racism is a public health emergency, how do you approach that statement? What context do you bring to that statement?”), followed by a discussion of issues such as the history of police practices in America, alternate forms of community intervention, healthcare system and COVID policy issues that disproportionately affect BIPOC communities, and future policy steps that might/should be taken by Burlington and around the country.
Finally, we will open it up to general Q&A with the audience.
