Launch of Poisoning Paradise Film Festival!

Poisoning Paradise Film Festival
It’s finally here! Help us kick off the film festival by joining us for the Launch Panel TODAY, October 7th at 4pm HT | 7pm PT | 9pm CT| 10pm ET!
Poisoning Paradise (2017) explores the story of how a small community on Kauaʻi pushed back against the agrochemical industry amidst corporate bullying, political influence, and ongoing concealment.
This month, film screenings will be held in coordination with a series of virtual panels, highlighting the work of community leaders in Hawaiʻi, Puerto Rico, Brazil, and across Turtle Island (North America).
Join this conversation with Lorilani Keohokālole and Malia Kahaleinia Chun to earn about the grassroots community movement on Kauʻi that inspired the creation of the film!
Come support Cheryn Vigil, UNR Core Team Organizer, who has helped organize this project and shared her vision through her artwork seen on all the promotional images for this project!
