Attend an upcoming meeting to help shape the Vermont Climate Action Plan.

The state of Vermont is developing its Climate Action Plan and drafters need your input to produce a forward-thinking guidance document that addresses the climate emergency. Seven events to gain public comments will be held throughout the state beginning tomorrow and running through early October. Please plan to attend one and provide input to ensure Vermont’s plan: Meets emission targets established in the 2020 Global Warming Solutions Act, Cuts greenhouse gas emissions across all sectors, Includes historically marginalized communities in the plan development, Is equitable and protects the most vulnerable, and is fully funded 
Upcoming Meetings
The events listed below are opportunities for you to participate in shaping the development and focus of Vermont’s Climate Action Plan which will be adopted on December 1, 2021. All the meetings are family-friendly, free, and open to everyone interested in attending. Food will be provided at all in-person events. In addition, interpretation services may be made available for individuals who register in advance. In-person events will observe COVID-19 safety protocols and all participants are required to wear masks.
