“Dismas of Vermont seeks a full-time Assistant House Director for Buell Street Dismas House in Burlington. Dismas is a safe and sober, friendly, transitional house for men and women leaving Vermont’s prisons and starting new lives. We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits, including healthcare.

The Assistant House Director (AHD) assists with administrative and residential life areas. The AHD coordinates volunteers and interacts with residents daily to support residential needs. The AHD maintains records/databases and supports fundraising events. Te AHD may also support selected committees of the Board of Directors.

Bachelor or Associates degree and two years experience in related skill areas, or equivalent required. Strong computer and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience with challenged or marginalized populations a plus. Applicant must have valid driver’s license and dependable car.”
