Fall 2020 Volunteer Opportunities with TNC

Dear Volunteer Partners and Friends,

After a quiet summer season working out best practices for hosting volunteers while maintaining the health of our communities, I am excited to reach out to you all today with a set of volunteer dates available to small groups and individuals. Please find these dates for late September through early November on our Volunteer Calendar and feel free to distribute the link or this email to any interested parties. You can direct anyone who would like to sign up or has further questions to send me an email at jack.markoski@tnc.org (this is the easiest method to be in touch) or call 802.229.4425 x 106.

A few key items to note: all our work will take place outside on our natural areas, physically-distanced with masks worn when in proximity to one another. We will be limiting group sizes to 10 or fewer (including 1-2 TNC staff present on site) and will be providing one set of sanitized tools to each individual that won’t be shared. Our staff will also provide hand sanitizer for frequent use. Further safety measures and specific details around logistics for each date will be shared following sign-up confirmation.

Thank you so much for your help in this process – we hope to see some of you/your groups out in the fresh air where we can all take a minute to slow down and enjoy the natural world in these challenging times. I’m looking forward to it!

Take care,

Jack
