To mark its 75th anniversary in 2020, UN Secretary-General António Guterres announced that the UN will lead the largest-ever global conversation on the role of international cooperation in building the future we want. While this is a time of great disruption for the world, it also poses a unique opportunity for us to ask ourselves about the role that the UN plays in terms of emerging from the pandemic.

Join this installment of UNA-USA’s Global Engagement Online Series (GEOS) to hear from Fabrizio Hochschild-Drummond, Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on the Preparations for the Commemoration of the United Nations 75th Anniversary. Mr. Hochschild-Drummond will share his perspectives on why everyone’s participation in these conversations matter, and will respond to interactive polling to determine important trends from the audience.
