2020 Jobs: Help Us Complete the Count

Dear 2020 Census Partner,

Thank you for your support of the 2020 Census. The commitments you have made to ensure that we count everyone, once, only once, and in the right place are critical to our success. As we draw closer to Census Day, your continued support is needed to ensure we achieve this goal.

The Census Bureau would like your help in giving our recruiting efforts one last push. On March 7th we will begin our biggest hiring effort for the 2020 Census. To date we have obtained over 2.5 million applicants across the country. We would like to ensure a robust applicant pool from which to select census takers.

We are asking that willing partners post messages and provide the link to our recruiting website on their social media, through their email communications, and/or on their websites.

About the 2020 Census

The U.S. Constitution mandates that a census of the population be conducted every 10 years. Census statistics are used to determine the number of seats each state holds in the U.S. House of Representatives and inform how state, local, and federal lawmakers will allocate billions of dollars in federal funds to local communities every year for the next 10 years.
