The Color Run Burlington – Saturday, September 28 at the Champlain Valley Exposition Center from needs volunteers from 8:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Positions could include helping out at the start line, handing water out, cheering runners on at the finish line, throwing color, or assisting in the festival area. CHANNEL 17 – Archiving Intern – Help build a time machine! They are looking for a volunteer to take old parts and pieces, string them together and turn VHS tapes into preserved nuggets of digitized wonder. TREASURER NEEDED – Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity is looking for a treasurer to serve on their Board of Directors. This position oversees the management and reporting of the organization’s finances. SELECTION COMMITTEE – Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity invites volunteers to join their Family Selection Committee. The Committee reviews applications, meets with prospective families, and decides who enters the home ownership program. About 2-3 hours a month.
