A Finer Future, A Conversation with Hunter Lovins about Higher Education Climate Action

Thu, Oct 11, 2018 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM EDT

Join Hunter Lovins and Eban Goodstein, for a conversation about the newly published book, “A Finer Future: Creating an Economy in Service to Life.” Learn how the principles written about in A Finer Future can help chart the course for your campus climate action. Using examples from sustainability leaders from Bard College’s network of graduate alumni, we will discuss with Dr. Lovins how these principles could be implemented on any campus. The book, released that day, outlines the principles of a regenerative economy, and details a policy roadmap to achieving it, including:

  • Transforming finance, corporations and other organizations
  • Reimagining energy, agriculture, and the nature of how we work
  • Enhancing human well-being
  • Delivering a world that respects ecosystems and human community

Join us for what will be a compelling conversation between two leading voices on climate change and higher education’s commitment to action.
