Fall 2018 Group Volunteer Opportunities with The Nature Conservancy

It’s hard to believe that it’s already time to look toward the next season of stewardship work. This fall, our Chapter has a variety of dates to match a variety of locations throughout the state. Our work will mostly be concentrated on woody invasive (buckthorn, honeysuckle, barberry, etc.) removal, but we do have one additional trail work day tucked into late September. These three months (Sept-Nov) are a very busy and productive time for us so, as always, we truly appreciate your help in spreading the word among your networks and helping us bring in new volunteers to our opportunities.

I have attached a flier for reference that includes dates and locations. Anyone who would like to sign up for any one of the days should send an email to volunteervt@tnc.org or call 802.229.4425 x 106. Specific details for each date will be shared following sign-ups. All days this fall will run from 9:30a – 2:30p.

Please do not hesitate to send any questions my way. We hope to see some of your groups out in the field!

My best,
Jack Markoski
