350.org sponsored mobilizations are happening around the world
in May, for breaking free from fossil fuels. In the Northeast US,

CHANGING CLIMATE: A Compassionate Response
This event starts Fri., May 13, 6:30 – 8:30 pm, with a panel
discussion and continues with a workshop on Sat., May 14 from
9 – Noon, at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier, 130 Main St.
Presenters include Gendo Allyn Field, abbot of the Upper Valley
Zen Center, among others. Suggested donations: $5 for Friday

its threat decades ago and worked to spread doubt about it. To
