Next week (Oct. 27), UVM will host two leading scholars – ecologist Andrew Balmford and economist Stephen Polasky – for a public dialogue on sustainability, moderated by VPR’s Jane Lindholm.
Details:
- The joint lecture will occur in UVM’s Billings Library from 3:30–5 p.m., followed by a reception in Billings Apse.
- Media sponsor RETN Channel 16 will record the event for future broadcast online and across Vermont cable channels.
- A special mash-up of Burack and Marsh guest scholar programs
- Hosted by the Gund Institute, in collaboration with President’s Office and RSENR.
