Town Forest Trek: A Guided Bicycle Tour of Town Forests

Join us as we bicycle through the dirt roads of Calais and East Montpelier and explore the rich heritage of our town forests.  We will stop at three town forests and other local landmarks to enjoy presentations about the natural and cultural history of the wonderful local resources. Presented by the Vermont Urban and Community Forestry Program Advisory Council and the Calais Conservation Commission.  The event is free, and open to everyone.  Thanks to the support of our many sponsors, boxed lunches from the Adamant Village Coop are available to purchase during the registration process for $5.00.  They will not be available to purchase the day of the event.  Learn more about the event.

When: Saturday, October 3, 2015 9:00am-to 3:30pm

Where:  The tour will begin in Kent’s Corner at the Robinson Water-Powered Saw Mill and end at the Kent Tavern in Calais
