The Rutland Area Farm and Food Link (RAFFL) is working to build a stronger farm economy that involves and benefits everyone in the Rutland region of Vermont. We’re hiring two AmeriCorps VISTAs to serve August 2015 – August 2016. Hiring will begin immediately and applications will be accepted, reviewed, and interviewed on an ongoing basis.

Glean Team Coordinator, AmeriCorps VISTA
RAFFL is working to address food insecurity in the Rutland region. The Glean Team Coordinator will work with local farmers to collect surplus produce and deliver it to food shelves and meal programs serving people who need food assistance. The VISTA will coordinate on-farm gleanings and food collections at farmer markets. Apply online.

Outreach Coordinator, AmeriCorps VISTA
RAFFL is working to build a food system that involves and benefits everyone in our region. We are hiring an Outreach Coordinator to help us strengthen our communications strategy and make our programs more inclusive. While there will be an opportunity to contribute to many of our programs, the VISTA will initially focus on our Farm Fresh Connect online farmers market and coordinating RAFFL’s volunteer program.
