Job Opening Program Director – Leadership Adventure Camp (LAC)

July 1 – 31, 2015
Richmond, Vermont

Our Community Cares Camp is looking for a program director for its Leadership Adventure Camp, a camp for upper middle school students. This is a free camp for children from the Chittenden East towns of Bolton, Huntington, Jericho, Richmond and Underhill.

The camp is located at Camels Hump Middle School in Richmond, Vermont. Camp is operated from Monday – Thursday, 8 – 12:30.

Please see attached job description and requirements. The camp has been in operation for two years and there are many lesson plans and activities to assist the new director in creating a program.

The previous director had to move out of state suddenly, creating this vacancy. There are returning staff to support and assist the director and who know many of the campers from previous years.

LAC is a fun and welcoming place for upper middle school students who might not have the opportunity to attend summer camp if not for the LAC.

If you love working with teens and have good organizational skills and experience with summer or outdoor programs, please send your letter of interest and resume to OCCC immediately, Marie Thomas, occc@gmavt.net 802-434-6006 P.O. Box 503 Richmond VT 05477
