Catamount Trail News: It’s Time To Get Ready For Ski Season!

The 6th Annual Backcountry Forum is on Thursday, November 1, 2018 and will be bigger and better than ever!  Join RASTA, the CTA, and our other chapters for an evening of fun focused on backcountry skiing and riding in Vermont.

This year we are also adding a backcountry ski video competition… The Vermont Backcountry Film Showdown! This friendly competition is intended to highlight regionally produced videos and video slideshows that capture and share all of the different flavors of skiing and riding that the Vermont backcountry has to offer.

The temps are dropping, and some of the trees are already starting to go. That means that it’s time to get out on the trail and make sure everything is ready for winter!

The Catamount Trail Annual Meeting and Trail Chief Gathering is coming up on November 10th at the Green Mountain Club in Waterbury, VT.

Join us for a little business, some discussion about future plans, and a special presentation!
Dates for the 2019 Catamount Trail Multi-Day Tours are now available on the website.

We’re still pulling together the details for this season’s tours and will update the website as that info becomes available. Registration for the 2019 MDT’s will open on November 1st.
