VT FEED is a Farm to School program of NOFA-VT & Shelburne Farms

2018-19 Northeast Farm to School Institute:
Applications due Wednesday, March 7th!
The Northeast Farm to School Institute is a unique year-long professional learning opportunity for twelve school teams from New England and New York.
Whether you’re a long-time Farm to School advocate or looking to begin integrating food, farm, and nutrition programs into your school community, you’re invited to form a team and apply.
The Institute kicks off with an action planning retreat at Shelburne Farms from June 26-28, 2018.
Spend the retreat developing your Farm to School action plan, networking with other schools from across the Northeast, and taking part in teacher and nutrition staff specific professional development.

Watch the story of Harwood Union High School during their time at
last year’s retreat:

Farm to School community

Twelve school team and/or district-wide team applicants will be selected. Your team will be paired with an experienced coach from your state’s Farm to School community for year-long support creating, implementing, and revising your action plan.
Bring Farm to School programming to your community with
the support of an entire network.
Download the Institute flyer to share with your network and colleagues – thanks for helping spread the word!
