We want you at VORS!
We all generate food scraps! VORS is about learning to manage this material as a resource for our communities. VORS brings together technical experts, compost producers, food waste generators, regulators, community leaders and advocates to build new networks for more resilient communities.
This year’s Summit will highlight business success stories, the use of compost products for storm water management, research, and outreach models. Workshops are designed to help businesses, institutions, communities and residents meet the State’s organics diversion, food rescue, and food scrap recycling goals.
The one day Summit at Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center will feature a morning plenary with Keynote presentation and a State of the State. Attendees can choose from four concurrent workshops, morning and afternoon, featuring 20 presenters. See Agenda for workshop descriptions.
