The Farm at Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC) provides teens and young adults the opportunity to build their job and leadership skills while growing food for over 300 food insecure Vermont families each year. Although this year’s weekly, summer Health Care Share program has come to an end, there are still lots of projects keeping us busy on the farm. Please join our 2016 Farm Team as we continue to bring in food from the fields and ready the farm for winter weather.
Who: Adults (there are many tasks available for all physical abilities)
What: Harvest root veggies, clean up the fields, and small maintenance projects in the barns
Where: On our beautiful farm at VYCC in Richmond, Vermont
When: Any time Monday-Thursday, 9AM-4PM
How: Contact Health Care Share Coordinator, Allie Perline, at allie.perline@vycc.org to arrange a time to come volunteer or for more information on other volunteer opportunities for individuals or groups.
Volunteering on the Farm means working hard, getting a little dirty, and making a big impact on the health of our communities. Thank you for your help and support, we look forward to seeing you at the Farm!
