Project West captures Champlain Alumni Michael Ackerman and Craig Winslow’s unique fifteen-day cross-country art expedition, creating light installations on found locations along the way. Using projection mapping techniques, each day on the road they created site-specific installations combining Ackerman’s animations with Winslow’s programming skills. This dynamic multi-media installation documents their journey and creates a breathtaking visual narrative. Please encourage your students to attend the reception and artist presentation its going to be amazing!
BOUND TOGETHER: St. John’s Bible & Hand Made Books

This exhibition celebrates end of the St John’s Bible one year residency at Champlain with a collection of beautiful hand-made books. Created by Champlain College students in Toni-Lee Sangastiano’s Book Arts Class, these books respond to the St. John’s Bible using both traditional bookbinding techniques and the latest technology from Champlain’s MakerLab. Please encourage your students to visit and explore the exhibition.
