The Department of Public Works have announced their annual post-winter street sweeping. There is an on-street parking ban in effect on the evening of the sweeping, depending on the location, from 10pm to 7am.
There are three separate nights that impact Champlain College in some way. They will be sweeping the following dates and locations around campus…
- Sunday, May 3 – Maple (west of S. Willard), South Willard (north of Maple), College St (west of S Willard)
- Tuesday, May 5 – Maple (east of S Willard), South Willard (south of Maple) and all around the rest of Campus
- Wednesday, May 6 – Main St and College St (east of S. Willard).
We encourage you to park at Gilbane, but if you do want to park near campus in the evenings, make sure you are parking in appropriate locations. The City will be towing.

Reminder that for commencement on May 9th and the night before on May 8th you are REQUIRED to park at Gilbane as we will have thousands of guests and our lots and streets will ALL be in use for commencement related activities.
The shuttle WILL be running all week from 7am to 6pm. If you need to get to Gilbane outside those hours, you can use your Guaranteed Ride Home card from CATMA which allows free taxi rides using Green Cab.
