Here are the details about the first public meeting for the VTrans On-Road Bicycle Plan coming up on Tuesday December 9th! Please circulate the information to anyone you think might be interested via Front Porch Forum or plain old word of mouth, and check out the project website for more information: https://vtransplanning.vermont.gov/bikeplan
Come to the meeting prepared to provide input about where you and your family currently bicycle and where you want to ride or would ride if conditions were better. Information from this meeting will help inform how state highway corridors are ranked by desirability and use for bicyclists.From VTrans: “Public input is critical to the success of this project. We thank you for helping to make the project a success by sharing your thoughts and creating project awareness by connecting others.”

WHAT: VTrans On-Road Bicycle Plan public meeting.
WHY: To provide an overview of the project, introduce the On-Road Bicycle Plan WikiMap and receive comments from meeting participants.
WHEN: December 9, 2014 from 6:00–8:00 pm
WHERE: Throughout the state using Vermont Interactive Technology (VIT) sites (excluding Rutland, White River Junction and Lyndonville) along with web streaming group events at the Regional Planning Commissions in St. Johnsbury and Rutland.
