The distinguished panelists, Dr. James Brey, Director, American Meteorological Society (AMS), Dr. Tim Carter, President and CEO, Second Nature and Dr. Mintesinot Jiru, Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Natural Sciences, Coppin State University will highlight the importance of studying climate science and global change topics while working towards a climate literate society. Presenters will inform participants about the process of offering AMS Climate Studies can enhance sustainability and/or climate-focused curricula and how the course can help an ACUPCC signatory institution meet the curriculum component of their Climate Action Plan.
