Action: CCTA Strike
I know I love my bus drivers! It’s past time for them to get a fair contract. Here are some ways you can help them out: 1. Call Bill Watterson, CCTA‘s general manager: 802-864-2282 ext. 2 2. Join the rally at the next CCTA Board Meeting TOMORROW at 4pm, Shelburne Town Hall Ground Floor Rec Activity Room, 5420 Shelburne Rd, Shelburne. The public is welcome to attend and offer comments about CCTA’s services. |

Indestructible Motivation
Despite all the bad news on the climate front, there’s still boundless energy here in Vermont and around the world to put the brakes on our society’s endless thirst for fossil fuels. You, I, we all feel that taking action in our own way is “the right thing to do,” even if more and more reports show that we are past the point of no return. What is this? To borrow a phrase from Meg Wheatley–Indestructible Motivation.
Please support our collective indestructible motivation. Your donation to 350VT powers the movement. Yes, I’ll help! |

Divestment Panel
Middlebury folks! On Wednesday April 9th at 7pm, ACORN is hosting a panel on socially responsible investing.
Our state treasurer, Beth Pearce is on the panel, and she testified against the divestment bill a few weeks ago. This is unacceptable! Vermont needs to take bold actions for our future like divesting the state pension fund.
Please go to this panel and show your support for divestment! |
