Green Your Graduation: Offset graduation this spring and go carbon neutral!

Campus Ecology

Offset your graduation ceremony this spring and go carbon neutral.
National Wildlife Federation’s Campus Ecology Program is partnering with Carbonfund.org Foundation to offer colleges and universities the opportunity to invest in carbon offsets. With this partnership Campus Ecology has arranged preferred pricing for campuses – just $9 per metric tonne for high quality renewable energy, energy efficiency, and forest carbon reduction offsets. You will also be supporting the work of NWF’s Campus Ecology program.

Campuses can also invest to offset:
• Campus Operations & Grounds
• Travel
• Events
Other benefits include:
• Investment in carbon offset projects that are verified, certified and audited by a third party.
• Investment in diverse projects – energy efficiency, renewable energy and reforestation projects.
• Access to knowledgeable staff at NWF and Carbonfund.org to answer all your questions.
• Access to offsets that are compliant with the ACUPCC (American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment) carbon offset guidelines.
NWF’s Campus Ecology Program wants to help your campus meet their carbon reduction goals. This opportunity can help you offset your carbon emissions through diverse projects that will have positive impacts in the U.S. and internationally. The Campus Ecology team can also provide support beyond this opportunity. We have a variety of online resources that feature best practices in sustainability and climate action, including the Guide to Climate Action Planning and Generation E: Students Leading for a Sustainable, Clean Energy Future. NWF’s Campus Ecology program also offers student leadership opportunities, hosts in-person and virtual gatherings to network and share knowledge, and more.
