2020 Presidential Candidates Climate Plan Analysis/Voter Tool

As part of an Environmental Advocacy course offered at Antioch University New England, Environmental Studies graduate students assessed all presidential candidates climate plans against 20 benchmarks including the following priorities: modern transportation, transitioning workers to green jobs, sustainable agriculture, ecosystem restoration, environmental justice for those disproportionately harmed, ending subsidies for fossil fuel companies, and holding this industry financially accountable.  Findings were then surmised in a table <https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/149-_W9Dj81C-E3p6M75gHNxZfOdNWj7RfijcRCxy2mY/edit#gid=1419243142> meant to be used as a tool for voters to see how their favorite candidate measured up against the climate crisis.

Please share this work with students, peers, friends and family, so we might have a better informed public come the primaries. Also, note the methodology tab at the bottom of the table and do reach out with questions or comments.

Best,
