Now that that pesky polar vortexy thing is over…maybe its time to get some fresh air and exercise on your commute? Your chance is upon you! February actually has a bunch of bikey things going on. See below.
- Feb 7th – Tomorrow! is the monthly Queen City Bicycle Club group ride. The ride is a group of femme, trans, womxn, and queer folks on bikes having fun!
- Feb 8th – THIS FRIDAY is International Winter Bike to Work (or school) Day. Commute to work, tell me via email and I might just deliver you a goodie bag.
- Feb 8th – To celebrate the day, you can also meet for coffee and bagels at 8am at Old Spokes Home (North Winooski Ave) before going on a mass group ride with the Mayor and other fun folks. We call this Ride365.
- Feb 12th – Burlington is hosting a Public Forum on Proposed Scooter & Bike Share, as an expansion of the Greenride Bikeshare pilot. 5:30pm in City Hall
- Feb 15th – CoffeeoutsideBTV mixes with a little ice skating at our monthly meetup at Battery Park. Always the 15th, always battery park, always 8am. Always good coffee.
- Feb 16th – Old Spokes Home is moving across the road! They need help with a Bucket Brigade and Full Barrel Beer Tasting/Pizza Party to move their stuff from one shop to another. Should be fun times.
Ride on,
Nic
