BRUSH STROKES – The City of Winooski is looking for volunteers to help paint two rooms in the O’Brien Community Center. All materials provided. A great group activity! Contact Olivia Miller at 655-6410, Ext. 12, or email volunteer@winooskivt.org.

CAMP OPENING SUPPORT – YMCA Vermont Camp Hochelaga in South Hero will soon be opening for its 100th season and is in need of individuals and volunteer groups to join them for work days this spring. Tasks will include building new program areas for campers, painting, facility repairs, landscaping, clearing trails, putting up tents, and more. FUNDRAISING GURU – Samaritan House has need of a fundraising/administrative guru with computer savvy who can jump in when needed to work with their dedicated team. FRONT OFFICE – Milton Family Community Center is seeking front office volunteers to answer phones, help with printing, copying and collating, provide data entry and word processing, and more. SHARING MUSIC – Ethan Allen Residence invites volunteers to share their music talents with their elders. If you are part of a singing group, play the piano or guitar, they are open to a wide variety of performers. ON THE RUN – Run Vermont is gearing up for its half-marathon on April 13th and is looking for volunteers to serve as course monitors, finish line support, medical support, bike escorts, and more. CHILD ADVOCATE – Guardian Ad Litem Program of Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle Counties is in need of volunteers to make a difference in a child’s life by visiting monthly with the child, collecting information to understand important people and factors in the child’s life, representing to a Judge in court what he/she feels in in the child’s best interest, attending court hearings and explaining the court process to the child, and consulting with the child’s attorney.
