Still looking for a great summer job? Vermont State Parks is hiring Park Interpreters at some of the most beautiful parks!
Park interpreters are full time seasonal jobs, normally running from early June through Labor Day (there is flexibility in the length of employment and full or part time scheduling). Park Interpreters are the folks planning and delivering fun, hands on, and inspirational activities for park visitors of all ages. Park interpreters also spend time in nature centers, talking with visitors, answering their questions, and giving advice on what to do and see in the area. Popular activities are evening paddles, wildflower walks, history hikes, and nature games. These are really fun jobs that combine outside and indoor work in Vermont’s most beautiful places.
Current vacancies are at Button Bay State Park (in Vergennes), Groton State Forest (in Groton), Bomoseen State Park (in Castleton), and Woodford State Park (near Bennington).
