For anyone with a window, you know that we’re getting snow in Burlington. Let’s hear it for snow!! That prompted me to commute to work this morning my most favorite way… on skis. The Burlington bike path is an amazing place to ski, as you just need an inch or two to make it work.
Champlainers, did you know that you can borrow cross-country skis for free? They are available for checking out at the HUB desk. Do it today, you won’t be sorry.
Wondering where to go? The Burlington Country Club is closest to campus and offers beautiful terrain (also a great place to sled). Another must-ski place is the Intervale. Thanks to friends at Local Motion and other local organizations & businesses there are groomed ski trails there. And they are amazing!! I’m hoping to put together an afternoon ski trip there in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
