This position manages the Peace & Justice Store including visual merchandising, inventory and POS, . The store is the mainstay of our Fair Trade Program and an integral part of our Center as a whole. The store gives local and visiting consumers an ethical option, educates those who are new to fair trade concepts, and introduces shoppers to the full scope of our statewide, membership-based non-profit and the programs we have. The Store Manager assists the Volunteer Coordinator in supervising volunteers who work as store clerks. The Fair Trade Program also expands beyond the store and has included our Cocoa Campaign for elementary school students, presentations on Free Trade vs Fair Trade, and local campaigns to encourage other local retailer to ethically source their products.

Full Time – retail hours including some weekends and holidays.
