We want you at VORS!
Vermonters are gearing up for 2020, when the ban on landfilling organics comes into effect. VORS is about learning to manage this material as a resource for our communities. VORS brings together technical experts, compost producers, food waste generators, regulators, community leaders and advocates to build new networks for more resilient communities.
The one day Summit at Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center will feature a morning plenary with Keynote presentation and a State of the State. Attendees can choose from four concurrent workshops, morning and afternoon, featuring more than 20 presenters.
This year’s Summit includes sessions on the use of compost products for storm water management, organics hauling, research, climate change, and outreach models to help communities and residents meet the State’s organics diversion, food rescue, and food scrap recycling goals.
