About: Local Motion was founded in 1999 with a singular (and improbable) goal:  to get people on bikes across the mouth of the Winooski River, where the Burlington Bike Path then came to an end.  Since then, we have grown to become Vermont’s statewide advocate for active transportation, vibrant communities, and safe streets.  Our mission is simple:  to bring walking and biking within reach for all Vermonters.

Services Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the operations of Local Motion’s Trailside Center and Bike Ferry services. This year round position will be responsible for daily oversight of the services with the aim of smooth operations during the season, and will coordinate all seasonal staff training and scheduling. During the off-season, the Services Coordinator, in conjunction with the Services Managers, will assist in strengthening and refining operating procedures and strategies for the following year.

This is a non-exempt hourly position, with an average of 32 hours per week, days and hours to be determined. Requirement: work or be available most weekends during the summer. Starting wage range is $16-$18 per hour commensurate with experience, plus paid time off, medical subsidy, and retirement plan upon qualification.
