Nature Conservancy Volunteer Workdays – June/July 2015

https://nature.org/images/emailsig_logo.gifCome help The Nature Conservancy get the trails ready for the summer at one of our natural areas!  No experience required, just an interest in working hard in a beautiful place and a willingness to join us on one of our more strenuous (and rewarding!) projects.

Williams Woods Natural Area- Charlotte
June 2nd (Tuesday)

Eshqua Bog Natural Area- Hartland
June 9th (Tuesday)

Raven Ridge Natural Area- Monkton
June 18th (Thursday)
June 23rd (Tuesday)

LaPlatte River Marsh Natural Area- Shelburne
June 30th (Tuesday)
July 9th (Thursday)

White River Ledges Natural Area – Sharon/Pomfret
July 23rd (Thursday)

All of the work days run from 9:30AM1:30PM. No experience necessary, but you should be physically capable of working outside for multiple hours.  We also ask that you bring a lunch and water.

We like to be in touch with volunteers a few days prior to the work day regarding weather updates and last minute details.  We would greatly appreciate any help spreading the word.
