What a beautiful fall! Spectacular foliage and surprisingly warm days and nights ~ wonderful climate to enjoy all the festive activities and events in the region!  This cooperative weather also makes traveling to work by bike, walk or bus a lot of fun ~ change up your commute and register with us for an assortment of incentives, programs and services.

It is with great pleasure to announce and extend a warm welcome to CATMA’s new Associate Members:  Redstone Lofts, Redstone Apartments and Seventh Generation in Burlington.  They join all our members and institutions in collaborating and committing to reduce congestion, protect our environment and provide sustainable transportation options.

We are excited to announce that CATMA will launch a new logo and website very soon! The interactive, user-friendly website will also include a commuter profile component with tracking tools.

Coming early November
Your input on transportation is important. The information collected will assist us withunderstanding your commute experience, so we can then evaluate and enhance our programs to serve you better.  Plus, you’ll have a chance to win a Kindle Fire!

  • Fletcher Allen, UVM and State of Vermont (downtown Burlington) employees will receive a bright green paper invitation via interdepartment mail.
  • Champlain College, CCRPC, and City of Burlington employees will receive an E-invite at your work email address.

VT Bike Challenge, Results are In!

Another great year for Vermont, taking third place nationally for miles logged during the challenge period. Congrats to the City of Burlington who took second place in the large workplaces category and UVM taking third! New Parking Meters Downtown, Burlington
The Burlington Business Association (BBA),Community and Economic Development Office (CEDO), and Public Works (DPW) is working on the city-wide parking initiative approved by Burlington City Council in early 2014. Click here for an update on the new parking meters to be installed in downtown and other parking projects.


CSVT Needs Your Input!

CarShare Vermont is hosting a series of focus groups to better understand the cost of car ownership and driving in our community and we need your help! In particular, we are looking to talk to Burlington and Winooski residents who are NOT current CarShare Vermont members. CATMA Commuter Kiosks

In an effort to create more awareness about CATMA and transportation options/resources available to our members employees, we are planning to place these kiosks around the worksites. Please email CATMA if you would like more information about these kiosks or have a great idea for a spot at your worksite.

Phones Down, Heads Up. Effective October 1, using handheld cell phones while driving in Vermont is against the law. Be safe, be smart and stay focused while on the road.
